I’ve got a maya scene with BAKED shape animation of a simple polygonal sphere. I can see the deformation working inside Maya, but the sphere stays undistorted in the POD file. Did anybody went through a case like this?
POD does not support vertex animation, only mesh animation – i.e. you can’t deform meshes within a POD file (unless you use some form of skinning). You should be able to deform the sphere in your application, but you’ll have to find a different way to store the animation.
