    Hi,

I would like to know if I can use the SGX531 to write generic DSP algorithms like FIR/IIR filters, FFT, math primitives like square roots or polynomials ?
If yes, could you tell me where to start looking ?
    Thanks!

    Hi,

Our GPU cores are designed primarily for 2D and 3D graphics processing. For generic DSP algorithms, you should discuss this with the chip provider for your target platform to see if there is a more efficient way of leveraging the hardware available to you.

    Regards,
    Joe
