In NavigatorICS, what do I do when I get the error “could not connect to server”?

    The complete error message is:

    “Could not connect to server. Either the software was not installed properly or the HDI Server service is not running.”

    Solution:

    Exit the software, turn off the target, disconnect the probe from the host USB cable, and restart the server. This can be done by accessing the Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services -> HDI Server.

    After the server has restarted, plug the probe back into the host, turn on the target, and restart the console software.
