    Hey there,

    I connected my minimorph board to the host and the LED 2 flashed every 5 seconds now. However, there is no ttyACM0 file under dev folder. Thus, I can’t long in to the MInimorph by screen command. Could you please tell me the reason?

    Regards
    Wei

    Please let me know the output of the following command:
    $ lsusb
    Also:
    $ ls -l /dev/tty*

    Ok, so in lsusb, it should be showing something about the CDC Gadget. See the final line of output here:
    $ lsusb
    Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
    Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
    Bus 002 Device 002: ID 045e:077d Microsoft Corp.
    Bus 002 Device 003: ID 045e:078c Microsoft Corp.
    Bus 001 Device 013: ID 0525:a4aa Netchip Technology, Inc. Linux-USB CDC Composite Gadge (Ethernet and ACM)

    Please try using a different mini USB cable, in case the one you have is damaged.

    Is the USB cable plugged directly into the PC or via a hub?

    Can you have a look in /var/log/messages for any entries around the time you plugged the Minimorph into the PC?

    I tried another USB port and it worked. Though I don’t know what is the wrong with the original port.

    Is it a laptop or desktop machine?

    It is a laptop and I just reinstalled the system. I used the previous port for connecting before the reinstallment and never failed.

    That is strange. We have seen issues before where certain USB ports are secondary and do not work (i.e. front connectors on tower cases).

    At least it is working now.
