Since I’m down on my luck getting the 2.02 PVRGeoPOD toolchain to export vertex colors I thought I’d try the 2.04 toolchain.

Both versions 2.04.0765 and 2.04.0811 cause 3dsmax9 to crash when exporting UVs.

Vertex colors or UVs. Pick one? 🙂

Please send us a minimal 3ds max file that shows the problem, and a screenshot of the exporter so we can see what settings you are using.

    Thanks,

    Aaron.

What email address should I send the .max file too?

It’s super easy to reproduce this. Just create a box, assign it a material and export it with “mapping channels” selected.

Sorry, I found the email address in another thread.

The same files that repro the problem in https://www.imgtec.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=283 will reproduce this problem also. These files have been emailed to devtech@imgtec.com

Thanks, we were able to reproduce the bug and we’ll let you know when a fixed version of the plug-in is available.

The plug-in available from https://www.imgtec.com/powervr/insider/powervr-pvrgeopod.asp has been updated. This version fixes the crash that you’re seeing.
