Can I ask whether you’re using 32-bit or 64-bit? Were there any error messages when you launched? I’ll investigate this locally as well, but if you could supply this information it would be useful to target my investigation.

Hiit s the 64 bit, there is no error message displayed , the color is just randomly red or blue by side.It s not a big bug ,it s just surprising , we can live with it 😉Kind regardsdavidNovember 20, 2012 at 3:08 pm #36305November 21, 2012 at 12:23 pm #36306
I had a look and it’s an issue to do with the change from ASCII to UTF-16 within 3DSMax. Essentially the plug-in was trying to load a file with an 8-bit string, but the string was actually 16-bit. In other words, it was trying to load a nonsense filename 🙂 Not sure why it was even attempting to load an image, it should have thrown an error as no image was actually loaded..
Anyway, it’s a simple fix, so I’ll do some testing and it should make it into the next SDK update.
