Im a developer on the pandora project. Ive been working the quake(1-3) engines using a library that wraps opengl es 1.X into opengl calls needed by the engines. A three engines do run as expected.
The question of concern is that I recently added X11 window support using the example found in the SDK(also added some fullscreen code found elsewhere). Using X11 vs RAW gives a noticeable decrease in performance. Its so bad in quake 3 that X11 mode is not playable. The pandora is using the angstrom distro and is currently using version 09 of the SGX driver.
